We couldn't have been more thrilled to have gotten married at Willowdale Estate. The venue itself is one of the most magnificent and unique venues you can find. Add to that the attentive, responsive staff and absolutely delicious food and you find yourself a dream wedding venue. Throughout the whole planning process everyone we worked with at Willowdale was an absolute delight. We had heard good things about the food and the service prior to booking our wedding there, and they did not disappoint. Our day of coordinator, Caitlin, was helpful, organized, and attentive, but also kept things fun for our whole wedding party. On our wedding day, the full staff was just great, not only making sure the bride and groom were happy and had everything they needed, but went out of their way to make sure our guests were taken care of. We've heard from so many of our guests just what a great venue it was for them to attend a wedding at, not just because of the beauty of the venue, but how they felt like the staff took care of them and looked after them. We've also gotten several compliments on the food. No one goes to a wedding expecting a good meal, and Willowdale's catering is really top-notch.

As a wedding photographer, I see a lot of venues - but I have to say, I had the best experience at Willowdale that I have had all year. Caitlyn, the coordinator I worked with, was professional, organized, punctual, and fantastic. She kept everyone moving and kept the mood light and fun. The food was delicious, the venue was so beautiful, and everything ran SO smoothly. I was so impressed and can't wait for my next wedding at Willowdale! I would highly recommend it to any brides looking for a venue in the Boston area!

As a Justice of the Peace it has been a pleasure to work with Caitlin Snyder on many occasions at Willowdale Estate. She is professional, extremely flexible and a fun coordinator to work with. Willowdale is a gorgeous facility to hold your wedding ceremony and reception. The estate is so beautiful and the grounds perfectly manicured. It is always a pleasure to be asked to officiate a ceremony at Willowdale Estate.

Willowdate Estate is such a great venue. My band Clockwork has performed there several times. The staff is extremely helpful and easy to work with. From a musician's perspective, I love playing outdoors at "tent" weddings, because the acoustics outside are very nice, and Willowdale definitely provides great acoustics. I'm looking forward to our next wedding there this coming October!

The best of everything, especially attentiveness of the service staff and quality of food!

No words will ever be enough to express our gratitude to the staff at Willowdale! The food was amazing! The hot chocolate chip cookies served later in the evening were to die for! The honeymoon suite was incredibly romantic! If you have your reception here you MUST stay overnight! Most of all, the entire staff made us feel like royalty and stood by our side throughout the entire event and catered to our every need! The most amazing staff you will ever work with! Our guests are still raving about the food and service! Just book it! :)

I knew Willowdale was the place for my husband and I even before we took a tour. We only drove outside (because it was a Sunday and we didn't have an appointment) and from that moment I knew this is where we were getting Married. I booked it without seeing the inside, but once we had the tour, it just confirmed everything I had read. I planned my wedding from two different states: Maryland and Texas! My husband was not with me, we were seperated because he was in New York for Military reasons and I was in Texas for Family. Willowdale did a wonderful job helping my husband and I with everything we asked for! It was hard planning a wedding so far away, but it went so well!Every little detail I changed, they did a wonderful job of keeping up. Everyone one on their staff is amazing, especially Cailtin our wedding planner! She was the best! Everyone at the wedding loved the layout and the decor and the food of the wedding! After a year and a half of being engaged and after 7 months of being seperated, this is the best memory Willowdale could have given my husband and I. We are so thankful to everyone who was there for us and who made our day incredibly fun and unforgettable. Willowdale did such an amazing job, my husband and I will definately be back to celebrate anniversaries for years to come! Thank you so much!

We could not have had a more perfect reception! Everything went as planned, all that hard work came together so effortlessly (at the end). We worked with Sarah and she was just the best, she was like a breath of fresh air, she made us feel so calm at our reception. She made sure we were able to sample our appetizers (AMAZING), made sure our drinks were always full and made sure everything was taken cared of for us. The service and food at Willowdale was impeccable, we had people telling us they felt like they were in a movie...everything was so perfect and stunning. Willowdale was even able to make two signature drinks for us to be passed around to guests (Limeade - virgin, and an alcoholic raspberry lime rickey) and they came out PERFECT!!! The entrees were so delicous - steak cut and melted in your mouth like butter and the fish was so perfectly flaky and moist. We wish we could do our wedding all over again with them, we had such a good time. There was no effort on our part to contact vendors to make sure they arrived on time, Willowdale took care of everything. We had the most perfect wedding...a dream come true...we felt like royalty!

We loved Willowdale from the second we visited it... All the value of a hotel wedding (i.e. food, coordinator, tent, linens, etc.) but also the most beautiful, unique, and romantic setting. I am highly detail oriented and slightly neurotic and the staff was wonderful at listening to me, incorporating my ideas and making all my dreams a reality! Having the entire venue for ourselves - for the whole day - was a joy and made getting ready, pictures, etc. all that much more enjoyable and relaxed. I was nervous about the food, becuase it was a bit cold during the tasting - but I had nothing to worry about - the food was amazing...my guests actually complimented it and ate it all - which does not happen at a lot of weddings! I would highly recommend Willowdale for your wedding!

The Willowdale Estate is a beautiful and romantic place to have your wedding. The staff is extremely professional yet warm and friendly. They helped make everything run smoothly and allowed my now husband and I to feel pampered and at ease. Any last minute details that arose they took over and solved. I highly recommend this place!

FABULOUS! Willowdale is THE most amazing venue. Sure I'm biased however I've attended my fair share of weddings and nothing compares to Willowdale's entire package ie. elegance, style, professionalism, staff, food, and location. We knew the second we drove up to the luxurious estate that it was THE ONE. Bravo Willowdale, keep up the good work!

My husband and I chose Willowdale for its beautiful setting and due to a classmate's recommendation. The venue was the perfect setting for our wedding, provided delicious food and great service. Willowdale provides materials to help you plan and prepare for the wedding. Once you've booked a date, you attend a tasting event that lets you sample their fabulous foods and explore the mansion another time. Leading up to the wedding the Willowdale staff arranges planning meetings to organize the day around your vision. (Staff is available via phone and email for one-off questions as well.) My "day of" planner, Colleen, was amazing. She ensured that the day went exactly as planned and allowed me to relax, knowing that she was in control. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the entrees, cake and - of course - Willowdale's signature chocolate chip cookies. I would highly recommend Willowdale as a wedding or other event venue.

I loved Willowdale Estate. I worked closely with Caitlyn who was great. They made sure every item was perfect and people raved about my venue. The ceremony site was gorgeous. The food is delicious. We did the shrimp gemelli and chicken marsala and everyone commented on the taste. We were married end of October in the tent and they had the heaters going. Everyone seemed to truly enjoy themselves.

Willowdale is a beautiful place and our wedding there went perfectly. Our day of planner was fantastic - great attention to detail and professional. The planning experience was also very smooth, Willowdale knows how to help a bride out! Food was also very good. Only complaint was an error on our final bill that would have gone unnoticed if my fiance and I hadn't looked it over carefully. We pointed it out to Willowdale and they took care of it that same day.

Willowdale was a dream to work with. They were extremely professional, responsive, fair, and had great ideas. They also had great tools to use to keep you organized. They are the NICEST staff - even the guests commented afterwards how friendly everyone was, from the coordinator (Nicole) to the bartenders and waitstaff. Most importantly, I felt totally taken care of the day of my wedding. Nicole set up the site beautifully using my items, and gave honest opinions. They always had a fresh drink for me and my groom ready, and was a great laison between my other vendors. Willowdale's priority is to host a beautiful, tasteful, and fun event, and make the bride happy!!! I certainly felt it :) We had a mansion wedding, and the place has so much charm and personality. Our guests were very pleased, and our vendors also loved it! THANK YOU...

We knew we wanted to have our reception at Willowdale the moment we stepped through the doors for the first time. We visited for the first time prior to the Conservatory renovation project, and to see their plans follow through from blueprints to completion was amazing. The space looked better than we imagined. The sales team and planning manager were so flexible when it came to ensuring that we received everything we wanted. There were a few minor slip-ups from the day-of coordination team, though nothing that ruined the night by any means. We got so many compliments on the place, our priest actually asked someone if it would ever be for sale because he wanted to live there! Also the food! What can I say about the food?? Most of our guests claimed it was the BEST wedding food they'd ever had. And they weren't exaggerating. We just received so many compliments on our wedding, people said it was at the top of their list of best weddings they have attended and we attribute that to a great setting and amazing food. If you're looking for a rustic, warm, inviting venue with awesome food, this is your place!

Our wedding at Willowdale Estate in July 2010 was absolutely wonderful. Even though it rained, it was still beautiful and everything I hoped it would be. The staff are so attentive and really wanted to make sure things were going as I had hoped. Everything ran very smoothly from the arrival of the guests, the ceremony and cocktail hour and the food service. The food was delicious, well prepared for having the serve 150 people at the same time. People are still telling us that is was one of the best weddings they've been to. The staff was very responsive to questions and e-mails. The details meeting and the decor drop off offered good opportunities to explain my vision for the wedding, and in the end the wedding was exactly how I pictured it.

Willowdale was a fantastic choice for our wedding. The venue and grounds are gorgeous, and having the entire mansion for your event makes you feel like King & Queen for the day. It really is a one-of-a-kind place, and the perfect setting for your special day. The staff were very attentive and the food was wonderful. Our guests are still talking about what a special place it is. We loved that the price included food, tent, cake, and that liquor was purchased through an outside vendor for cheaper price. The only thing we were a little disappointed with is that their promised coordinator services didn't live up to our expectations in the weeks prior to our wedding. The day of went smoothly for the most part, but we had expected a bit more personal attention and focus in weeks and days prior to our wedding. Maybe it is just growing pains for a fairly new venue, but during busy season they didn't seem to have the adequate amount of staff to deliver the personal attention they promised.
