We were so lucky to have Rev. Mary Powers marry us on May 5, 2012, in Baltimore. She was just perfect! She brings humor and positivity, but is also extremely professional. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Rev. Mary. Book her!!

Rev. Mary was so timely with our email exchanges. She met with us before the wedding at our home and was willing to travel - I believe an hour for us! She made us and everyone feel so comfortable. If you want an Officiant who is organized, prepared, caring and has a wonderful personality then I highly recommend Reverend Mary. We could not have had a better person to officiate our wedding and share our special day!

Mary was great! She worked with us to create a ceremony that reflected our personalities; she had so many nice ideas. We had a wine box ritual during our ceremony and it was perfect. Rev. Mary Powers was a perfect fit for us! Her flexibility, openness and innate sense of spirituality are her finest attributes. From the first contact via her website, followed by a prompt return call...to fulfilling requests (sending emails in a timely fashion with great resources and references for us to customize our vows)...to the pre-ceremony coffee meeting that was succinct and full of meaningful suggestions...to showing up at the ceremony site with plenty of time to prepare...to her joyous demeanor -- with a splash of bright yellow on her robes -- that calmed us...to the professional presentation of the ceremony we wrote, and ultimately leading us through those lovely moonlit moments from being partners to married now as wife and husband. Rev. Mary also gets extra kudos for officiating our wedlock outside at sundown on a rather cold, breezy December eve. Thank you...

Rev. Mary E. Powers was a wonderful officiant, and I highly recommend her services. After seeing her officiate three weddings for relatives in my family, my fiance and I knew we wanted to hire her as our officiant. Even though she has moved to Maryland, she was generous enough to offer to still officiate at our Massachusetts wedding!! She is very professional and conscientious...she made sure to provide us with all the details well ahead of time, and guided us through the ceremony creation process (which you can personalize to your liking). During the rehearsal and ceremony, her experience and expertise proved invaluable, and both went off without a hitch. Rev. Mary is a fantastic officiant and I recommend her without hesitation!

Officiant Mary is a really a sweet person and performed a beautiful ceremony for us. She is friendly, responsive and very helpful. I am so glad that we found her and it worked out perfectly. She came through even at a very short notice and was supportive about the whole process. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant. We are very glad that she married us in the holy matrimony. She went above and beyond our expectations and surprised us with beautifully printed ceremony packet. I will whole heartedly recommend Mary to every bride and groom out there.

Rev Mary Powers was very courteous, prompt, and gave us several options in order to provide us with the wedding service we wanted. Everything went off without a hitch, even though we had small kids and a dog involved and had a non-traditional wedding. Rev Mary Powers was perfect! I can't imagine having had anyone else do the wedding. She was so genuine, caring and professional. Reverand Mary is a dream! My husband and I had no idea what we were doing going into planning our wedding and Rev. Mary made the ceremony process a breeze! The way that she is able to tailor every aspect of the ceremony to us was amazing. For anyone looking for an officiant that is respectful of different beliefs, while still making sure to hold to the tradition of the ceremony, Rev. Mary is the perfect choice!

Mary Powers was the first and only officiant my now husband and I interviewed to perform our wedding ceremony. From that first meeting, as well as the packet of information she sent us, we knew that she "got" us and was was a great choice to work with us to craft our ceremony. If you are like us and are planning a non-denominational ceremony, but have no idea what that means, Mary will work with you to find rituals and craft a ceremony that reflects your personality. If you are having a traditionaly ceremony, I"m sure she'll do that well too. Like any bride, I had a few freakout moments and Mary always responded quickly to email and was very reassuring. Also day of - she's on top of it! Very reliable - she tells people where to stand and what to do without being pushy or anything. She put me and my entire wedding party at ease. She will make you look good when you are standing up there in front of your friends and family.

Rev. Mary Powers married my husband and I in Block Island, RI on September 3, 2011. She is an absolute joy to deal with. She met us in Mystic, CT earlier in the year (we were there for a holiday) to review the ceremony and go over any questions or concerns we had. This was a logical meeting place as she was at a wedding about an hour north of that from which she would be returning home to MD. As for accommodating, I can only say she went out of her way to meet with us. We were at immediate ease upon sitting with her. She made us laugh and enjoy the planning process and she provided us with a very helpful book that allows you to pick and choose what is said for each part of your ceremony. For us this was so important as we needed to combine our beliefs and those of our parents during the ceremony and this made it so simple and fluid. She was in constant contact with me as we grew closer to the date. She arrived at the ceremony on time and immediately took charge. I had little to nothing to think about knowing she would "run" the show, and she did. From the procession to Matt and I standing at the isle, she guided us all, during an extremely overwhelming moment, and made it look as if we had rehearsed several times. She gave me a tissue when I cried and she protected my husband from shedding too many tears, while I walked down the isle, with her kind words and advice. I received many compliments from our guests on how professional and perfect she was for our ceremony. Most thought we had known her for years. Honestly, it felt like we did. Reverend Mary was great! We had our wedding out of state and she was able to communicate quickly and efficiently with us. She even moved out of state before our wedding and was still able to be there for the rehearsal and ceremony. She was very professional and spoke loud and clear! There were no hiccups along the way. She allowed us to plan the entire ceremony and add or delete what we wanted. She even stayed and gave the blessing at the reception. She was great and I would recommend her to many other couples planning to get married!

From the first time we met with Rev. Mary we knew she would be great. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process. We communicated through email and her responses were always very quick. With Rev. Mary you have the ability to plan your own wedding ceremony and she helps you in any way you need along the way. She made a lot of suggestions about different aspects of the ceremony that I hadn't even thought about. A few months before my wedding Rev. Mary contacted me and said she had moved to MD, and my wedding was in MA. But she said no worries, I have friends and family to stay with in MA and I will be there for your wedding. I have to admit, I did worry a tiny bit. However, Rev. Mary met with us about a month before our wedding while she was up performing another wedding ceremony and that tiny bit of worry disappeared. On our wedding day she was there plenty early and all prepared. Rev. Mary was the best vendor choice we made, by far. Our friends and family loved the wedding ceremony and thought it was very unique. Rev. Mary brings a positive energy and makes you feel very comfortable, she is wonderful at what she does. I highly recommend her to all future brides, you will not be disappointed!

Rev. Mary Powers was amazing. She was a perfect fit from day one I am so proud to have had her perform our service. From being able to hand pick our ceremony to her extremely warm caring personality she was outstanding. Even with 9 kids in our bridal party she never batted an eyelash. Rev. Mary was excellent to work with. She is very experienced and has a lot of great ideas to offer but she also encourages the bride and groom to customize the ceremony as much as you want. I didn't really know what to expect when we starting meeting officiants. But when we met Rev. Mary, I knew she was perfect. She was really interested in how we planned to incorporate Jewish traditions into the ceremony without making it a religious ceremony, and she had some great ideas about seating and making the ceremony run smoothly. I loved the packet she had to help us customize the ceremony. She was great at responding to my questions and ideas. When I got hesitant about the quality of the ceremony, she gave me some much-needed prospective and made me feel so confident and happy. All of the instructions she gave us during the rehearsal were easy to follow, even for the youngest member of the bridal party - 13 months old! Rev. Mary's presence during the ceremony was so calming and her voice was beautiful reading us the ceremony we created. I am very grateful to her! (Although if you are doing a traditional "breaking of the glass" moment, make sure you use a lightbulb or she'll yell at you!)

We absolutely loved Reverend Powers! She is warm and friendly and completely understood our sense of humor. Her ceremonies can be as personalized as you'd like and she will help you to incorporate traditions, songs and special readings into your ceremony so that it feels very unique. Many of our guests commented that it felt like she knew us for a long time, and I truly believe that's because she listens to her clients and makes the effort to get to know them. She's also very responsive and her rates are quite reasonable. We couldn't have been happier with her services and highly recommend her to other couples!
