Robin was amazing at putting together a well-structured and touching ceremony. She included unique details about me and my husband, which was a lovely surprise. My husband and I and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony. However, she was somewhat impolite to the entire wedding party during the rehearsal and seemed impatient, which made that day more stressful than it needed to have been. All in all, she got the job done, but we wish she could have been more respectful to our family members and friends who were in the wedding party.

We contacted Reverend Robin weeks before our civil ceremony and she was quick to create a program for us that was unique and personal despite the short notice budget constraints. I would highly recommend Rev. Robin if you want your special day to be well planned and one to remember. She is very professional and well organized and knows what she is doing, with Rev. Robin you will be in good hands.

Robin was such an amiable, affable and accessible person. My husband and I are not of the same faith, so in our search to find a Unitarian minister that fit us well, we did meet quite a few. Robin stood out because she spent over an hour and a half with us in our get-to-know-you session where we really felt a connection. She helped us design a ceremony that truly reflected who we are as a couple. She also had knowledge of different cultures and customs and offered suggestions for various parts of the ceremony. Our guests in the audience raved that she was natural, composed and warm!

My fiancé and I didn’t want to forget the whole reason about getting married was to get married so we thought long and hard about who was actually going to perform the most important part of our day. We decided to go with Robin because she was warm and welcoming and she offered pre-marriage counseling. She was a bit over our budget, but we decided that this was going to be the best investment we would make towards our marriage. Our ceremony included many personal aspects about who we were as individuals and as a couple. There were so many personal touches. We received many compliments on our ceremony and we benefitted from the one on one sessions with her.

My husband and I decided a week before our vacation to Boston that we would like to get married while we were there. I did a little research on the internet and found Rev. Robin Zucker's website. A bit skeptical, but really wanting to pull this off....I contacted her.She was prompt in a response and so professional in every aspect. We made arrangements to meet once we were in the Boston area. She was so flexible with us and worked around our request. We decided on a perfect location for us in Columbus Park right on the harbor at twilight. It was absolutely perfect. Her ceremony was beautifully written for the two of us. Robin joined us afterwards to celebrate at a quaint little restaurant. We were absolutely thrilled with her service and feel that we have made a great friend as well.

We really enjoyed working with Rev. Robin! After meeting with several officiants, it was clear to us that Rev. Robin would take the time to help us create the type of personalized, interfaith ceremony we were interested in. She spent over an hour with us at our initial meeting (before even deciding to book her) just getting to know us. The PREPARE processs was also very valuable - not only did she get to us as a couple very well, but we learned a lot about each other and our relationship in the process. Definintely recommend doing this before getting married! She is genuine and provided us and our family with a very memorable wedding ceremony!

We were pleased with the topics covered in the Prepare program and the flow of the actual ceremony. However we were not impressed with Robin's inability to attend the rehearsal even after we specifically requested her presence. When we learned she was ill, she then promised we'd have a "stand-in" but one was not provided. We also had to reschedule one of our 90 minute Prepare sessions due to an oversight on her end. The ceremony is the most important element however for the amount Robin charges, every aspect should be flawless. UPDATE: In response to this review, Robin replied the following..."Your need for everything to be "flawless" may prove counterproductive to your life and marriage in the long run." That's funny, I didn't realize voicing my opinion of a service I paid for was a precursor to the rest of my life.

I highly recommend Robin Zucker to anyone looking for a personal, unique and meaningful ceremony. Robin spent the time to truly get to know us and created such a special ceremony that truly made the wedding an unforgettable event. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and how it captured the essence of us as a couple. Robin incorporated many of the personal stories we shared during our meetings with her, and even referenced our two cats during the ceremony which we absolutely loved! In additional to doing a wonderful job with the ceremony, Robin was really great to work with during the planning process. We both thought the Prepare program was a really worthwhile experience, and only helped to strengthen our commitment to each other.

Robin was an outstanding officiant. We were lucky enough to spend time with her before our wedding with the prepare program. We really feel the prepare program helped us as a couple to get ready for marriage. We have had numerous guests who have since told us our wedding was the most personal they had ever been to. We would throughly recommend Robin as an officiant.

The planning aspect was great. We met with her and right away we knew we wanted her to do our wedding. She spent a great amount of time getting to know us (and worked all of the details into our actual ceremony). The PREPARE program was great and with it, we got to see what aspects of our relationship we need to work on and Robin gave us some great tools to work on them throughout our lives. It was always a very comforting and inviting atmosphere and we felt so comfortable sharing with here. It was as if we'd known her for years. The ceremony itself was fabulous. I can't tell you how many compliments we got on how touching and personal the it was. We didn't want a religious ceremony and she made a beautiful, tailor-fit ceremony for us that I'll always remember. Robin was such a calming presence at such an anxious/exciting moment in our lives. I feel so lucky that she was the one to marry us. It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony and I really don't think we could have asked for anything more perfect for the whole experience.

Robin met with us a total of three times to plan our wedding service. But it was more than just the usual "what do you want to say/who wants to walk when & where" kind of planning sessions -- it was a deep-dive into who were were as individuals and as a couple - how we related to each other and to our respective families, what trials we encountered as a couple so far, and how best to manage future issues given our styles of communication, etc. What resulted was a real and powerful ceremony celebrating our lives and our couplehood - it was truly transformative. Our friends and family have all commented that it was one of the most moving services they'd ever experienced. We would recommend Robin to anyone looking for that kind of sensitivity to detail, for excellent planning leading up to the day, and for crisp execution of the ceremony on the day of. She's great!

My husband and I were blown away by Robin's genuine care and attentiveness. With so many costs associated with the wedding, it was refreshing to work with Robin and know that we were investing in our marriage and not just a one day event.

Very pleasant to work with, flexible and offered lots of choices for readings. Because of short notice on our part had to do rehearsal with a stand-in.

We cannot recommend Robin enough to any couple of any religious affiliation or spiritual belief to officiate your wedding or other important life moment. Robin's attention to our personalities and our desires for our wedding ceremony went beyond our expectations. Guests of all ages sought us out after the wedding to share how uniquely personalized and special our ceremony was. We highly recommend Robin's PREPARE program where you meet with her two times for pre-wedding counseling. Her warm attentive nature made us feel right at ease and she really took the time to get to us as a couple and as individuals. All of this attention was reflected in her words and nature on the day of our wedding. If that isn't enough, Robin was asked to officiate my niece's non-denominational blessing two months after our wedding because of how impressed my family was with her personality and style.

Robin has a unique and special talent for honoring all traditions and beliefs in a way that is seamless and full of grace. My husband and I come from different cultural backgrounds, and with Robins expert advice we were able to create a ceremony that celebrated who we are together in a complex and meaningful way one that felt special to us and to both of our families and friends. Our sessions with her leading up to the big day were always relaxed and comfortable, and she is definitely someone you can rely on. We would highly recommend her!

I can't tell you how many people came up to me during the reception to tell me how much they loved the ceremony. Robin made it so personable by getting to know both of us and by adding those details into our ceremony. Intially, I was hesitant about the PREPARE session that robin offered. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the time and money. However, i was very pleasantly surprised after completing both 90min sessions. It definitely brought us closer together. I would definitely recommend Robin to other couples getting married.

Rev. Zucker performed our wedding ceremony in August of 2009. She put a lot of personal attention and time into preparing our ceremony. This included several meetings before the ceremony, in which she spent a significant amount of time getting to know us. Looking back at our experience, the Prepare program she used during those meetings helped us to discuss and reflect upon our relationship in new ways. It truly helped us to strengthen our relationship by talking about expectations for marriage. Rev. Zucker was a very knowledgeable and insightful guide throughout the whole process. Rev. Zucker incorporated what she learned about us during our meetings into a very personalized service. Friends and family thought that we had known her for years. Her positive attitude and genuine demeanor throughout lead to a beautiful ceremony we will never forget.

If we could have created the 'ideal' officiant, Robin would be it. She is the perfect combination of warmth, grace, humor, and reverence for the union of marriage. We immediately felt comfortable with her, much like a close friend that one has known for years. She was intentional in getting to know us and hearing about our families so that she could help us create a wedding that was a reflection of who we are. She assisted us with details like choosing words for our vows, and also offered suggestions of additions to the ceremony that were in perfect harmony with the tone we wanted to create. Her personalized attention helped us create the best celebration of our lives.
