Our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted. Montilio's did a great job and it tasted delicious! At times it was difficult to get a hold of them or have them return emails, but I always got through if I was persistent. They arrived on time, and everything was beautiful.

I was so dissapointed with my cake. I had a very simple design. Ribbon accross each tier and roses on the top. They gauranteed that they could match the swatch I gave them which was a deep marroon. What I got was a black cake. Mr. Montilio told me that I should have been warned that the ribbon would change color because when the ribbon hits the icing it darkens. Isn't it their business to compensate for that? If that's the case shouldn't they have picked a lighter color red? I sent him pictures of the cake and it wasn't red. It was black ribbon and the flowers on the top were black. My cake looked morbid. Mr. Montilio didn't have an excuse for the flowers on the top. He did apologize and gave me half my money back. But it just really stinks that I'm now stuck with pictures of my husband and I cutting into a cake that wasn't what I wanted. Such a dissapointment!

We did have a great experience with Montilios but the only trouble was trying to book a tasting. They only offered random hours and locations and it made it difficult to fit into our schedule. It seemed the person we needed to meet with was away or just wasn't available. We tried to coordinate several times and finally did.The cake however was a huge hit with our guests and it looked beautiful!!

I chose Montilios to be my cake vendor after attending a wedding expo where I was able to taste a few of their cake flavors...it was instant love! I actually also saw a cake they had on display there, and was completely in love with it...I knew I wanted pretty much that exact cake for my wedding, so I took a photo of it. My (now) husabnd and I early on, made an appointment, and was initially a little sad, because when we went for our tasting, there had been a snowstorm, so the cake was not able to be delivered. Because of this, they offered to have any flavors of cake we wanted to try delivered to our house! This struck me as VERY considerate, and showed me how much their customers matter to them. We chose a few different flavors, and in the end, fell in love with their "Pina Colada" cake, which is a coconut cake with a pinapple filling - it's to die for! we paid for the cake up front, and a week or so before the wedding, I called to confirm that everything was all set, and it was! Our guests are still talking about how awesome our cake was, and how beautiful it was to look at. Not only is it a pretty cake, they are delicious! I highly recommend Montilios!

Our cake turned out fabulous, we were very happy with it and they were very reasonable on price! They are a bit disorganized as you get close to the wedding, however, so don't panic :)

We tasted several different wedding cakes and Montilio's was the best! Their cake tasting, although brief, was straight and to the point. My husband and I knew what we were looking for and were able to articulate our design ideas to the wedding consultant. We provided them with a swatch, so they could match our colors in the cake. The cake looked breathtaking on the day of the wedding and tasted even better!! We had a chocolate cake with chocolate truffle mousse and a lemon cake with strawberry grand marnier mousse in the other layers. I would recommend them to ANY bride! :)

Montilios made my wedding cake for my wedding in July. The cake tasted AMAZING- the staff there were incredibly accommodating, and the cake turned out beautiful! I would highly recommend to get your cake from them!

We chose Montilios because they were the vendor of our venue. They were very accommodating as we were planning the wedding from 1500 miles away. The cake was gorgeous and they were able to take a design I had found and recreate it. The color didn't match the swatch exactly but it was extremely close and perfect for our 4th of July weekend wedding. There were great flavors to try at the tasting and we ended up choosing two flavors for our cake. The folks at the store in Brockton were so helpful and had no issue letting us come for two tastings with my husband being out of town!We chose the strawberry with grand marnier (our favorite at the tasting) and found that at the wedding it was a little too moist and difficult to cut into nice pieces. But it still tasted amazing! Thanks for making our wedding cake everything we dreamed!

I have never seen such a beautiful cake and was absolutely thankful my maid of honor chose this bakery to provide my wedding cake. All of the guests kept talking about our cake days after our wedding. I absolutely recommend future brides to contact this bakery. They will not be disappointed.

I compared Montilio's with a close competitor, Konditor Meister, in Braintree, MA. We live in Braintree, and were having our wedding at our hometown on the Cape.Montilio's was more expensive, but muchhh better tasting. They decreased their price/slice to make our cake more affordable to accommodate our budget. In addition, the staff was much more welcoming and friendly, and gave us a ton of cake to take home and let others try!We received so many compliments on our cake( Strawberry grand marnier with buttercream frosting) . Not only that it looked so beautiful, but tasted so wonderful. I can't wait to try it again on our 1st anniversary!

Gorgeous cake, and delicious! We went to a tasting at Montilio's and wanted more! The cake had four layers of three different flavors, one better than the next! I highly recommend Montilio's for a wedding cake.

My wedding cake was both perfect-looking and absolutely delicious! Montilio's took a complicated design that I wanted to do and worked within my budget to make it happen, and did a stellar job decorating it on top of that! I would use them and recommend them again in a heartbeat!

Our cake was included with our venue's package. We had no idea what kind of design we wanted, even after looking online for several weeks before our appointment. Our consultant showed us several different books of designs and helped us incorporate several different things from different cakes that we liked. We did some upgrades from the package and it was well worth it. The cake looked beautiful on our wedding day and was also super delicious!

Our wedding cake was so beautiful, way more beautiful than I ever imagined! and so very tasty!!!!

My cake was amazing...it was exactly what I wanted and when I saw it I literally wept! Everyone loved it and as if being delicious wasn't enough, it was STUNNING!!!

To summarize - YUMMY!!! we had the orange lemon zest with buttercream frosting and it was to die for!!! I provided a picture of the design I wanted and they made it exactly!! the cake was light enough for after a big meal and was an amazing hit with everyone!!!

We didn't really have many special requests for our cake and it was part of our package at our venue, but we did have fun at the cake tasting. The final product was just what I had hoped it would be and tasted wonderful. On our one year anniversary the cake tasted just as good!!!The only issue we had was when I made my appointment for our tasting. I had set up an appointment at the Brockton shop and a couple days before we went, I called to confirm our tasting. They had no record of us coming in, but were able to fit us in at the Quincy shop.

We picked Montilio's out of a list of three given to us by our wedding venue solely because it was the closest to my parents. We really lucked out because we ended up with a fantastic cake.The cake tasting was low key enough that we didn't feel intimidated by the variety of flavors available to us. We got to design our own cake by taking aspects from several cakes we liked. We then trusted the cake decorators to use our wedding colors to bring the cake to life. It was stunning! The only sour note for me is that they don't have cake toppers in the store. I had a hard time finding one and ended up having to settle.
