I wish I could give Dianne 10 Stars!"I hardly ever eat the cake at weddings...but your cake was amazing!". I heard this comment from literally dozens of guests at my wedding; and I couldn't agree more with them. Dianne's cakes are delicious and gorgeous to look at. There was no limit to the flavors that we wanted to use (pumpkin, chocolate chip, red velvet and pistachio) and people loved having the option to try 1, 2 or all 4 of the flavors. I will absolutely use Dianne in the future for special events! If you don't believe me, then call her and request a tasting session...her cakes will speak for themselves!

Dianne makes AMAZING cakes!!! After having two other friends recommend Dianne to me, I had few hesitations about giving her a call. Once I met with her, I had none! After meeting with Dianne in her home office and discussing our needs and budget, I left feeling 100% confident that I had made the perfect choice for our cake vendor. Dianne is truly sincere in her approach, and her enthusiasm for what she does shows. After our meeting, I found a design I fell in love with, and it was no match for "The Cake Lady." It came out exactly like the picture! Also, Dianne's cakes are not only impecably made, they taste delicious! We had a hard time narrowing down which flavors we wanted because there were so many to choose from.I have already recommended Dianne to two other brides for 2012, and hope that they choose to book with her, too! Not to mention, I can't wait to dig into our topper on our 1 year anniversary. Thank you, Dianne!!

Dianne is wonderful and her cakes are amazing! We had had one of her cakes at a friend’s wedding and remembered it for 2 years until our own wedding. She worked with us from day one to design our perfect cake. I even lost a glove in her driveway and she was nice enough to dry it out and mail it back to me. The tasting was fun and we settled on the mint chocolate chip cake and the white cake with strawberry filling. Everyone (yes, everyone!) at our wedding RAVED about the cake and our engaged friends all asked us for her information. Dianne even made a special small cake for my godmother who is allergic to strawberries so she could have cake without worrying about cross-contamination in the kitchen. Dianne was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her!

Dianne has the BEST cakes I have ever tasted and it goes along with the best cakes I've ever seen - ours was beautiful - exactly what we asked for and looked even better when done and at such a reasonable price. Her buttercream frostings are the best I've ever tasted - and she doesn't use fondant which was a plus for me. She has by far the most flavors and fillings I've seen anywhere. We fell in love with her mint chocolate chip cake with mocha buttercream - can't wait to have it next year! Everyone loved all the different flavors we had:)

AWESOME!!!! We had a 5 tier cake. We told Dianne what we wanted and she delivered it exactly. Cake flavors were delicious!

We booked The Cake Lady before we booked any other aspect of our wedding - this is how absolutely fantastic she is!! Cake was very important to my husband and me on our wedding day and we couldn't have been more pleased to work with Dianne to create our perfect wedding cake. Dianne isn't afraid to experiment with color and design. She worked with us to create our dream wedding cake. She took the time to let us throw out ideas and helped guide us to make it absolutely beautiful. The bonus with working with Dianne is that she has exceptional skill in working with buttercream frosting to the extent that she can make it look absolutely smooth like fondant (but obviously it tastes so much better). She doesn’t just decorate her cakes beautifully, her cakes taste absolutely AMAZING. We sampled quite a few flavors before our wedding and decided on the almond with strawberry filling and key lime with buttercream filling. We talked up our cake so much that we decided to get extra cake so our guests could try each flavor if they wanted to. It was declared the best wedding cake anyone had ever had and there were only a few slices left at the end of the night!! Dianne outshines all of the other local bakeries (big and small) in the Boston/Central MA area. In terms of taste, quality, attention to detail, and skill, The Cake Lady is the absolute best you can get for your money!!

Dianne is a very talented individual. My wedding cake was included in my wedding package with the venue I chose. I never met Dianne face to face. However, Dianne was always VERY prompt with sending and replying to e-mails and sending samples, arranging for easy pick-up at my wedding venue. I chose the style of my cake through a variety of options presented in a detailed album of her cake creations. The cake she created on my wedding day was EXACTLY how I had envisioned it, and it tasted wonderful. I am truly very satisfied with the whole experience I had with Dianne.

To future brides interested in Dianne Rockwell... this is one decision you do not have to second guess. My name is Lauren and my husband, Peter, and I couldn't have been happier with our wedding cake! Working with Dianne Rockwell was a great experience. She was easy to get a hold of, easy to schedule appointments with, and great about getting right back to you. As total food lovers, we knew we would enjoy ordering sample cakes, but we never imagined how difficult it would be to make a final decision... it was all so yummy! When we met with Dianne she was very helpful and a great sounding board for ideas… especially for a bride who was a little all over the place with ideas. She really seemed capable of helping both the most indecisive bride and the knit picky bride (which I think somehow I might have been both of these things at the same time haha). I was really impressed by her photo albums she shared with us to help spark ideas… both for the organization and for her obvious talent in perfecting wedding cakes. It has been six weeks since our wedding and we are still hearing compliments on our wedding cake and how truly beautiful it was. Not only was the cake beautifully decorated but it was absolutely delicious. In fact we had several guests asking for a second piece of cake during the wedding! Since then we have had several people ask where they can get another cake like it. It gave us peace of mind to know that Dianne was making, delivering and setting up our cake and it was one less thing to have to think about with all the nerves, excitement, and busyness of the day. I know I’m rambling on, but one last thing… Dianne was completely receptive to new ideas and went to every measure to make our vision come to life… we had seen these adorable chocolate covered strawberries decorated to look like a bride and groom for a cake topper. Dianne worked her magic to recreate them and they were a huge hit… and even better we devoured them after the wedding! We had complete confidence the day of our wedding and would highly recommend Dianne to anyone!

Dianne is absolutely wonderful to work with!! Her cakes are both beautiful and delicious. I had a vision in my mind of how I wanted my cake to look like and she made it a reality. All my guests raved about the flavors. Definitely try the mint chocolate chip.

I read all the reviews for The Cake Lady and I decided we had to try her cake! We actually went to taste cakes at her house twice because there were so many flavors to choose from. We finally decided upon pistachio with cream cheese filling (my favorite ever), carrot with cream cheese, and almond with chocolate buttercream. They were all great and our guests loved them! We did not have much left over, which is a good sign. We have our cake topper in the freezer and I am so tempted to take it out and eat it because it was so great! Dianne is also very sweet and professional. She always responded quickly and has so many pictures that you can get ideas from. She makes buttercream look like fondant, which is hard to do! Thank you so much Dianne! We loved everything!

Dianne Rockwell provided a beautiful and unique cake for my wedding reception that my Husband, guests and I will remember forever! The flavor selection is phenomena! We chose chocolate chip and pistachio as our two flavors and allowed Dianne to surprise us with the flavor that we would cut into the day of the wedding. I felt so confident with her ability to create a beautiful and delicious cake that I never thought twice about worrying. My wedding was in the winter and her winter discount was very cost effective. She also made me very comfortable with the idea that she would deliver no matter what kind of weather we were experiencing! Dianne was very personable, friendly, professional and an all around excellent vendor. I would highly recommender her!

We had the best time working with Dianne on our cake. I knew I wanted sugar snowflakes and my husband knew he wanted the tiers to look a little different but to remain somewhat classic. We sat down with Dianne, went through her books and picked pictures of cakes we liked. Dianne then drew a picture of the cake for us complete with sparkling wires of snowflakes shooting out the top of it. It was awesome. It was also nice to be able to sample different cakes on multiple occasions and take a small cake home for the rest of the family to sample. It definitely helped to have all of our family know how delicious the cake was going to be. They also got to feel like they were really being included in the process. I wanted my snowflakes to be varying shades of blues. I gave Dianne a sample of the color of the darkest blue from pantone and let her run with it. It was perfect.The cake is delish!! Mint chocolate chip was the biggest hit at the wedding. The husband liked the spice with mocha frosting. Everyone is still talking about how good the cake was and I know they were going back for seconds and trying both flavors at the wedding. I wouldn't change anything about the process. For us working with Dianne was perfect. We planned long distance (from CA) and she was quick to respond via email and always accomodating on our quick trips home to set aside some time to meet.

Dianne was beyond amazing. She made us feel at ease and it was delight to be welcomed into her home. Her attention to detail and her flexible nature made the cake process a breeze. The one things I loved about Dianne was when we had the cake tasting prior to the wedding, she complimented with coffee and tea which made us feel what we hoped our guests would feel, which was deliciousness. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Like everyone else, I have only the highest praises for Dianne. I have never been a big fan of traditional wedding cakes (in my opinion, they are somewhat bland and dry, and don’t even get me started on fondant…), but I loved the taste and texture of Dianne’s cakes from the very first bite. For those who want to go the traditional route, she offers basic white and chocolate, but I think her strength is in the unique flavors she concocts. For our bottom layer, we chose a delicate almond cake with raspberry buttercream filling; for the middle and top layers we chose white cake with blueberry filling. The guests RAVED about how good the cakes were. And as if baking delicious cakes wasn’t enough, Dianne is also a pleasure to work with. To help facilitate the design choice, she has well over 200 photos of her cakes to browse through. She was very patient with me as I sifted through all the pictures, and she listened to me to get a sense of what I liked or didn’t like about particular designs. I felt she gave me very good advice on the design of the cake – I was worried my design would be too “busy”, and she gave me her honest opinion. The final product was gorgeous! She returned all my emails promptly and professionally. I would HIGHLY recommend Dianne to any bride-to-be.

Dianne was a great person. We are still receiving complements on our cake and how beautiful and delicious it was.

Dianne Rockwell Rocks!We researched dozens of wedding cake vendors and we decided on The Cake Lady, Dianne Rockwell, because we liked the quality, designs, and price of the cakes. When we met Dianne, she was extremely friendly, welcoming, and insightful in helping us with choosing the cake. Upon our request, she baked three different flavors for us to try (pumpkin, maple walnut, and the lemon cakes). The three of them were delicious and we decided to go ahead with signing the contract. One point about our wedding cake is that we wanted to write the Arabic word for “love” on it in a special calligraphic design which we provided for her. On the wedding day, Dianne arrived on time if not even earlier. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the cake and our special design worked out. The cake tasted fresh and we can't wait to eat the top on our first anniversary... but since it was so good, we may eat it sooner if we can't control our impulses! Wow!! The cake was the talk of the wedding! A month later and my guests are still talking about how delicious and beautiful it was! Diane made my vision come to life, more than I could of ever hoped for! You will not be disappointed if you do your cake with Diane! She is easy to work with and has a wonderful personality. AND talk about the best cake you have ever eaten!! Worth every penny!

Dianne was absolutely AMAZING. She loves her job and it shows. She made my husband and I 6 cakes to try because we were having such a hard time committing to a cake flavor- we loved them ALL! Dianne also made 2 mini-replicas of our wedding cake for 2 of my family members who were too sick to attend that day. Dianne is a true professional and I HIGHLY recommend her!
